I love the dichotomy between ubersmooth Vai legato and frantic 64th note picking from Vernon Reid. Fun listen to an agelessly awesome tune.

I think I’ll always have one toe dipped in Vai fanboyism, but I wasn’t digging this too much. It’s cool they did it, but it didn’t really add anything to the song for me that‘d make me want to hear it over the original.

Still cool as fuck Vai did a few songs with them live.

Cool they rocked it together. If was fun watching Cory interact with the fans, but I'd rather watch the guitarists' techniques.

Brings back fond memories of playing Cult of Personality at gigs. While I didn't play the solo near as well as Vernon or Steve, the more intellectual crowd praised it, whereas the typical rocker crowd preferred hear songs with less depth, like Enter Sandman.
