Lars Frederiksen Emg set

    Hi guys. I just found this set of pick ups and they were quite interesting as I did not know these existed. There is very little videos or reviews of these pick ups. So I was wondering if there any you either have a set or played a guitar that had them installed? If you have what was your opinion on them and their sound? any help regarding these pick ups would be appreciated thanks.

    never heard of these haha. Didnt know they were a thing.

    Having said that, everytime Ive tried a passive EMG, its been terrible.
    So im worried this is more of the same?

    I would normally agree, but in the video the bridge (the only one he played) sounded pretty good! He mentioned sounding a bit like a Dirty Fingers, and it does seem to have that vibe, but maybe a bit less hot, and a little more high end

    here is another video with these pick ups in there. Its a pick up shoot out with the lars frederiksen set shown with different tones. Wondering what you guys think.

    The Lars, Revelation, and H1 all sound the best. The Lars having more beef and the H1 having the most cut and tightness. The Revelation being in between

    Everything else was varying levels of meh

    Thanks for the input. Those stood out to me as well. I'm taking a liking to the lars set. Must be cause it sounds a bit beefier.
