Only 300 bones and the size of a 1950BB enclosure. Not bad. Seems like it can also act as a preamp pedal.

Same price as the Diezel/Friedman/Bogner mini heads but a little more powerful and more "versatile" so honestly it seems like a really cool deal.

Sorry for using a Fricker demo, but he's the only one that demos the amp in a... yknow... actual metal context while using the thing as a proper amp. Plus he uses the direct out w/ IRs halfway into the video

do these have super high headroom when as a boost like the Model feT or beta preamps? been looking at those for a while but I could be persuaded to try something different.

I have been thinking of a "pedal platform...pedal" for a while. I wonder if this will fit. Seems to be far better than the Orange Stamp and some other options. The thing even has a headphone jack haha.

The Fricker demo seems fine to me if you just listen to the playing and clips. Anyways I guess this is just the first in the Laney "Foundry" line. I wonder what else will they come out with. A Supergroup in a pedal?....... Or what we all want... An AOR in a pedal. Naww Laney hates money too much.

Let's talk competing products. What else is out there for high gain in a single pedal format? Seems to really beat the BluGuitar, Victory and Blackstar products on price.

Taurus and Hotone come to mind. Hell, Taurus were the OGs but didn't really do much to market their pedals.
But yeah it's gonna be hard to beat this pedal for the price.
FWIW I think the Amp1 Iridium would smoke this thing sound-wise, but still... $300 lol.

Yeah I thought the tube IRT15-2 had pretty good cleans.

I agree that the AMP1 is prob far better, but I was turned off by BluGuitar when they were complaining about Blackstar ripping off their product because they both used toridal transformers and other common jelly bean parts. Acting like the class D section of their amp was somehow unique. Those were some of the dumbest threads I have ever seen on the gear page. At least the Laney sidesteps the issue by just having a external power brick lol.

Iommi signature Foundry pedal would be pretty cool. An AOR+fuzz like I mentioned before would be amazing.

Both ideas seem too cool to be priced at $299.

I saw that the one US Reverb seller had a Ironheart Foundry in stock, but it sold. Did one of you gets get it? Not a lot inventory yet for these.
