If anyone remembers the old Studio Devil British Valve amp sim, I was wondering if anyone made/makes a preamp pedal that's a tonal match of it?

    Thanks.

You'll be happy to know that the Amplifire series of pedals are based on the Studio Devil amp sims (it might even be the same software as they are both made by Atomic Amps).

This pretty much if @Carl Kolchak wants a digital solution. Though modeling in Atomic Amplifire is different and better in many ways. Studio Devil Amp Modeler Pro was more close to Amplifire stuff than British Valve Custom. I just tried to get similar tone as with British Valve with my Amplifire 3, and Freedman BE came to closest, Hot Brit wasn't bad either which might be Amplifire equivalent for British Valve plugin which tonally really falls somewhere between those two.
