Dark Tide Blue is my favourite "new" RG finish. My RG2027XL is my favorite guitar now. It'd be nice to see some variation colors on these XL guitars. I like the blue... But also I like neon

Dark Tide Blue is pretty nice, I'm a real sucker for Cosmic Blue though.
That's what I said when I bought this guitar too, small world!!Thanks to both your latest NGD threads in here, I'm now starting to crave for both of your new guitars. My wallet thanks you very much... 😒 I thought I was done buying guitars for a while, damn it...
I like thin necks, my hands aren't that big, so they suit me well... and I'm used to the S5527s, to the RG1527's, my 2000 UV's and a few others I have here...@odibrom See if you like the super wizard HP Prestige necks first if you haven't tried them. They're 25.5", 49mm 7 string nut, 17mm thick profile at 1st fret, 19mm profile at 12th fret, 17" radius, typically light satin finish on rear and headstock. It's the exact neck I imagine many folks gripe about being a bit too thin. For me the really close string spacing is more of the stark contrast to something like the S5527's Wizard 7 RG style neck when combined with the slight radius difference. It really makes you use fretboard real estate carefully when it comes to certain chords.
There's a Iron label SIX27FDBG 7 string on Reverb and a few other places right now. It's going to feel identical to an S5527 I would bet, and if you can do your own fret and nut work not much of a compromise at all functionally.
Great minds think alike...?That's what I said when I bought this guitar too, small world!!
