Those tops look like shit.

Yeah, and that's the stuff they're bringing to fucking NAMM. They use some of the worst tops in the game. Look at this monstrosity:

That top is not good, but made even worse by the finish job.

The crazy thing is that every step of the process they saw that top and just kept going.

Those tops are just sad to see. WTF has happened in that shop. I know their production manager left a while ago too. This is my 2017 TE, how have they shit the bed this badly.

Is the group of luthiers making USA ESPs known anyway?

Like the individual folks' first and last names?

It's not OEM, ESP set up an actual facility. There were some known industry folks on establishment, but there has been some change over in staffing since so I'm not sure exactly who is there day to day outside of management.

It seems that I am in minority here, but I like this particular top a lot and Limeburst was also nice. I am not fan of those satin finished ones.

Apologies if someone has posted this already (tl:dr) but it's worth posting again tbf
From guitar.com:
"...a portion of the proceeds of every LTD Desert Eagle will go to Lynch’s non-profit charity that assists Native American communities and causes"
Thats pretty awesome and an incredibly worthy cause fair play to George and ESP. He has been a very vocal supporter of Native American causes and fights for equality for some time now

Hopefully it’s a decent portion. I would think that it would be, but idk how these things work.

Thomann has a video up from NAMM and the ESP rep says all of the guitars will be shipping February. We’ll see…

That is absolutely horrendous, especially considering the price. Hell, Gibson USA tops are better than that and every MIJ LP I’ve bought has been significantly better.

I'm not sure if its new or not (don't care either way, nerds) but those split flag inlays are awesome.

I appreciate pretty wood but really don’t mind a plain ass “Home Depot bathroom vanity“ top as well.

Have a nice day. :wavey:
