Innovation Threat
Everyone could have different experience with these guitars but I can assure you both of my models are killers. Tonewise they are amazing instruments. They eliminated my Jackson and Fender strat guitars for good but I had to do a few things around both of them.
Guitar shielding was a must just because EART fits everything on the raw wood and stock guitars are pretty noisy. I used copper tape for W2 and aluminium tape for W1. To be honest I do not hear any difference in noise between copper and aluminium. There is a silence now.
I sold stock pickups. I got Alan Entwistle X3 set for (W2) and Warman Drivetrain quadbucker 30K + Tonerider Pure Vintage single coil for (W1). I reused stock 3 way korean switches and full size pots because they are high quality Alphas with brass posts. They work better than CTS stuff which I have in my Jackson and Fender.
0 frets are replaced for stainless steel super jumbo monsters. This mod gave me a possibility to lower strings so low to get more sporty setup. That was a great idea. W1 model got a stratocaster's blank picguard which I profiled to the best shape I could.
I wanted to achieve two different tones and designs. As you can see I accomplished that. Both guitars look and sound amazingly well.
