I think the Pro X series were made in Korea and started in 2011.

    I got this.
Ahem, he's saying he has mail ready for pickup, and so does his neighbor.

I keep getting double posts from a glitch in the system. Yesterday, I couldn't log on to ss.o, because of a "database error."

Anyway, everyone wants to know the date of their import BC Rich guitar, but, unfortunately, import guitars, in general, don't follow any rhyme or reason to their serial number mayhem. Even US BC Rich guitars are notorious for being up to four years off between serial number date and actual date of delivery, because some of them took for freaking ever to finish.

After Bernie Sr. passed away and the company was heading toward ruin, most of the import series were made in a nameless factory in a "foreign" country, stamped with a nonsense serial number, and then shipped all over the world. Trying to get a date off of most BC Rich _____ series guitars is almost as bad as trying to guess the date of manufacture of a Ticonderoga #2 pencil.

Call me old fashioned, but I don't let my guitars date until they're at least 16.

2010. his is probably 2011 I had one of the earlier ones and it was a disaster because the truss rod didn't work serial started with 10 instead of 11. hope you had better luck.

Me neither, but if the OP wants to date his mockingbird, more power to him, I guess.
