Just want to ask a question to the community. I established a business and started making custom domestic/exotic wood control cavity back plates, trem covers, truss rod covers, pick guards, picks, etc with full engrave options. Additionally, I do fully engraved display art.

My question is what guitar and/or brands/models would people like to see custom work offered up for? I've been a musician for many years and really got sucked into the custom guitar market because of the insane woods and options. I know at a certain point, functionality no longer plays a role and it's more about the art aspect. Currently, Kiesel has a huge community of people very interested in highly customized guitars/basses. So right now I have mainly been focusing on Kiesel and Mayones.

Doing some Fender strat pick guards next that I will fully engrave.

Strandberg perhaps? I'm not sure if they offer wood backplates. Would it be possible to create some sort of 'skin' for hardware such as bridges or tuners?

Yeah it's certainly possible. That could easily be done with vinyl. Bridges may be a bit tough to do except just the flatter parts (i.e. like the Evertune). Forget doing anything with the saddles. I can actually do some distressing/bluing as well as other techniques to get toning. That may be something down the road. Pickup covers are another such customization. Recently, just finished a pickguard for a Fender Strat. Pickguards are great for this!
