So far my limited experience with Crunchyroll has been great. I haven't paid anything yet, though, since I have plenty of email accounts left for trials

Registered in the first place to watch the remake of Dai no Daibouken. Totally worth the 0$ just for the heavy nostalgia factor!

huge weeb here. perhaps chronic. if you have good antivirus and ad blockers/malware blockers...plenty of off shore places to watch current and old shows. i used to subscribe, but server issues, delayed dubs , billing issues and altered politically correct wrong translations and stories being rewritten to fit " altered narratives" forced me to move on and watch elsewhere. unfortunately they have an almost monopoly on licensing rights. hidive is an alternate choice but not as many shows.

as a guitarist, one of my favorite music anime that i have watched is "Beck Mongolian Chop Squad. dubbed version. it captures the spirit and angst, guitar reverence of playing and being in bands. some cool tunes too.

As a middle-aged guitarist, I'll toss out Black Heaven for a watch. I go back to it ever few years and it hits the spot every time. Those initial episodes where the main character is sitting at work day-dreaming about playing guitar and his glory days of actually being able to play are spot-freakin'-on.

Cautionary Warning sticks with me for months after watching it again. I keep meaning to do a cover of it, since I used to watch it with my guitar in my lap and play along all the time, but just can't ever bring myself to sit down and do it.

it is a cautionary tale. we all meet a Miss Yuuki at some point in life and say "what if?"

It depends how much anime you watch. Fortunately, my wife watches even more than I do, so she pays for whatever streaming service is good that season.

Every once in a while, I even still check Crackle from my PS3. Netflix, Prime, and Hulu each have some decent stuff from time to time. Crunchyroll and Funimation are great if you are looking for very specific stuff though.

It's so sad that Beck got cancelled or something. I think the manga went further than the anime.

Damn it! I didn't realize which part of the forum I was on before entering from the new posts section.

I thought this was some new pedal or plugin emulation being released at an introductory price. At least you gave me bass face before bouncing.
