jason2112 got me thinking about carvin guitars, so i went to their website and found this:

really nice looking guitar, i think. :)

it's one of their is stocks, too, so you can actually own this for 1099. seems like carvins prices have gone up. but i know they make top quality stuff, so...

here's a link to the site so you can look at a larger photo or whatever:

I could do without the floyd, but what is the deal with no carvin logo on the HS? I have always wanted a natural mahogany st300, but I can never save enough before I find something else I want.

If you look closely you can see the logo. It looks like whoever ordered it requested the black logo decal on a black headstock, which makes it nearly invisible.

How much do Carvin generally charge for the in-stock stuff?

I understand it changes with the options etc., but is there a general region the prices sit in?

You get a small discount and the benefit of getting the guitar immediately.

i've always liked black on black. it seems understated and elegant. :)

That just takes me to the homepage, and there are no prices on the guitars in stock.

A discount from what? I don't know how much they normally cost!

did you try this link? http://www.carvinguitars.com/guitars...p?Serial=96462

sorry for the trouble, man. i was trying to share a cool guitar pic. :(

the discount is:

Direct Price (what they call their actual price):

$1,249.00

Sale Price:

$1,099.00

Standard Shipping:

$26.00

That one didn't work either! They just send me back to the homepage every time. :(

I really hate the way their website works, it's fucking stupid. There are no in-stock prices on the UK site either.

So are all the instock Carvins around the $1100 mark? That's only about £800 or so to me, which is great for something of that quality.

Since you're outside the US, Carvin works much differently. In fact, you no longer can deal directly with Carvin, you'll have to pay a significantly raised price and go through a Distributor in your nation.

Search a little, there was a HUGE thread on this.

I saw this Carvin awhile back and I love it. I do prefer a higher radius, full 25.5 scale and EMGs, but if these aren't required things for you then hop on this thing.

One of my favorite carvins I've seen, which shows how boring I am.
