This, plus some of the cabs, and I think Rezs’s checkered greenback cab is in this category, are pretty distinct. Ola’s Hesu comes to mind as well.

I can't really get excited about any high gain amps these days as I feel if they were piped through the same cab, a lot of them would be reduced to different flavors and how you dial them will depend on whether they sound the same or not. The cab is a huge equalizer in this.

I don't hear anything in these clips that you could not get out of a 5150 or something.

If this can cop the older Rev2 Uber tones, I'm all in. Been looking for something more versatile so I can retire my old Uber from playing out, this just might be the ticket. I've got a ton of different cabs (even an Alnico Cream loaded cab thanks to @Rezamatix's demos!) so I can usually get a pretty good idea of how an amps going to sound in the room from watching his demos 👍

These hyper-versatile tweaker amps just seem like overkill to me. Knowing myself I'd probably just find one setting I like and keep it there. How about just giving us the original rev-whatever Uberschall in a single channel for under 2K? Like a Bogner Avenger. I'd buy that shit.

This is why I like the Victory stuff so much. Two channels sounding great, single EQ. *If* I need more fine-tuning I'll adjust with whatever EQ I have on my FX-unit.

I found that I pretty much parked the Victory VC35 I had on a single setting and that's it. I might be happier running amps as pedal platform type setups.

I saw someone post on a Bogner group on FB saying he called his Sweetwater rep and that’s the price he was told. They don’t have it on the site yet but are doing preorders. Also said there’s two versions, one 100w and the other 150w.

That's literally the case for all these guys. You use the same cab(s), mic, positioning, room, etc for every recording, of course every amp is gonna sound the same.

Finally! I'm very curious to see how the production version is gonna look and if there's any nifty shit going on at the back panel.

I like this and my pal Reza does killer demos however , my MI Megalith Beta V2 does this with ease , brutally without the $$$$ cost !

I'm looking forward to trying one of these. Reza has some cool demos but his sound is so uniquely his own that I don't think you can really learn anything about what the new Uber sounds like until we hear multiple players try them out and compare them directly with the older Ubers in the same setups.

I'm also curious about whether the Presence knob on the new Uber will be a Contour / Mid Scoop control like it was on the original amp or if it will be a more "standard" Presence control. I don't believe Reza touched the Presence control or talked about the Presence Frequency switch in his demo at all.

Are they ridiculously expensive? I looked into bogner in australia and it was prohibitive. I like the models on the axe fx

I did some searching and it looks like some Sweetwater reps are just taking names and making their own list, at least all the folks I've asked said their cards hadn't been charged yet so I don't know.

My Canadian dealer had no idea the amp existed and was hesitant to even reach out if I wasn't giving him half right then and there.

I told him, if you don't know about this amp or it's existence why the fuck would I give you money to find out about availability LOL
