BKPs in a JP6?

It sounds good... but it just doesn't have that chunkiness I look for tone-wise, even with the Warpig set. Guess BKPs can't fix everything!

Can you get Bareknuckles that look like normal pickups and not the haggard, metal pickups?

Yes you can order them without the distressed covers. FWIW I didn't order the pickups originally!

...that's exactly what the guys at Bareknuckle did.
For what it's worth, I really like it sweet look of a clean elegant finish with rough brutal pickups!

...that's exactly what the guys at Bareknuckle did.

Haha, yup, exactly. He also uses all sorts of random things (screwdrivers, etc) to "draw" the patterns on. One of Tim's former employee's then used to use his bare fingernails... His fingernails went black and fell off soon after apparently.
I think the fact that each cover is unique really adds individuality and character to any guitar they go in.

Definitely. There's a dude on the BKP forum with a gorgeous grey/blue flamed PRS custom with camo'd warpigs in. I think it looks awesome.
