Congrats to them on the milestone. I'm old enough to remember when Megadeth and Exodus signed to Capitol back in the day; it was a pretty significant step in their careers.

Baby Metal collabing with some sick bands . This new album should be a banger by the looks of it !

I was just thinking to myself they must be close to adulthood now and it turns out one of them is almost 30

they're barely even "young adult metal" anymore, let alone baby metal

I suspect "Baby" is now more of a relative term, as opposed to the growing number of geriatrics in metal these days. 😅

I saw them play last November in Indianapolis. It was a killer show, although I wish that it was a longer setlist. It was by far the most I have ever paid for concert tickets since COVID though.

I'll be catching them again in Phoenix this July. Hopefully, they play a longer set on the upcoming US headlining tour...but, seeing how active they are onstage, I suspect probably not, unless the new songs tone down the choreography a little.

Also , I think Korn deserved a shoutout here … I believe they were one of the first bands to invite Baby Metal to play at that “ level ” and I remember how much that stirred the pot . Now they’ve got an album with all the big names in metal / alternative lol

I especially liked the part where Poppy turned into the final Aeon from Final Fantasy X. 😁

Poppy and Baby Metal … a collab no one expected , but one we needed
I can't say I'm too surprised, she's hot right now and has been on an ascent for a while.

I like the new track and realize I need to check out more of Babymetal's catalog. I've only heard a handful of songs and liked them.
