"unbiased" from a conservative point of view means biased against liberals, in general. I heard my roommate yelling at someone on the phone the other day about how conservatives were censored under Biden, as if I didn't have to hear from them at all hours of the day on every platform including the mainstream media

All this ban talk just reminded me of an ESP thread where some guy was doing the whole “ESP USA IS EXPENSIVE CUZ CALIFORNIA!” and opted to ignore all the responses with dozens of other California guitar makers at lower price points and lose his shit and insult everyone because I called it Fox News garbage
You're correct, Alex at the time owned MyLesPaul and a number of other forums that had an openly conservative leaning OT section and the mods weren't kneecapped like we were here.
Cool, guess I can say fuck Alex and I'm happy with new ownership already lmao. Gutting an entire mod team because of a transphobe who probably doesn't post here on the regular had to be a prick.
Having had to work with/around those types, and having a few unfortunately in my own family in both cases basically for as long as i can remember.... "Censorship of conservatives" basically boiled down to being pissed that they cant use slurs without social impunity anymore, or weirdly, in a lot of cases it seems to be tied to getting fact checked. It's gotten harder and harder to take any of the conservative mindset seriously, even if I disagree with it, because so much of the their core rhetoric and beliefs ore objectively proven wrong over and over and over again by actual facts, world events, common sense. Like, they say "fuck your feelings" but, like, your 'feelings' aren't solid, proven facts. Start using that to support a counter argument, don't just have "a concept of a plan" or whatever, and maybe, maaaybe I can feel like you get a seat at the big kids table again, even if I disagree. But I don't see either the average red voter doing that, and their media does it so often they've gotten sued repeatedly for blatent bullshit.... and THAT is also what they will call "conservative censorship". And on top of all that, they keep embracing the Trumps, and the MTG's, and Boebert types which are just not at all people I feel like any grown adult would be able to take seriously, but holy shit, somehow, they do.... Jersey Shore was popular for a hot minute too, I guess.... and these people just spout these bullshit ideas based solely of fear, greed, or like, abject cruelty for people who they disagree with in any way, and no actual, constructive logical reasons, and when its the people being voted into our highest offices spouting toxic lies, shit rolls downhill... and it rolls fast. And were all forced to smell it now.
This is a good summary of why I reregistered as an Independent. Like, I'd say like Bernie, I caucus with the Dems, but outside of Bernie, AOC, Booker, and Crockett, no one seems to have that fire under their ass to do something. There was probably more action that the "Hands Off" protests did than any of the left outside of those four.
