It is, and it's been struggling to break away from that and be less gate-keepy and more open, so having the Muskrat sniffing around there will only make the fandom that much worse.

How long before these tariffs backfire? Because it feels like the rest of the world is so pissed at us, that I'm actually thinking there actually is a chance Trump will blink first.
Already happened once. Had the on/off Mexico and Canada tariffs and the second time he tried to turn them off, Canada refused to lift their counter-tariffs. He even whined about it.
The rest of the world is moving on without us. They know they only need to hold out another 3 1/2 years (probably a lot less) before we come crawling back. The idea we're going to tariff the entire rest of the world into submission or remain isolated long enough to become a manufacturing state again is delusional.
One thing I said to my friend, Canada should block p**nhub. You'll see so many trump voters who have no idea how to a VPN (which is probably a majority) do an about face, it'll make their heads spin.
Some states are already effectively doing that on their own from what I've heard. I think Texas requires you to upload your license or some for of ID verification to access it.

Yeah uh this is gonna hurt more than dropshippers. A lot of hobbyist and DIY stuff comes out of China. I bought a lot of shit to mod my Game Boys from Hispeedidio and Funnyplaying who are based in China.

I spent the last couple years of enjoying the fuck out of all the actual good sub $15 gundam model kits off aliexpress... they even been doing a lot of P-Bandai stuff recently, making available to broke ass hobbyists like me a lot of otherwise stooooopid overpriced scalper kits. Til this past year, never thought i'd have like, a Varguil, or a G-Line etc. in my collection....
Fucking Trump ruins EEVEEERYTHING. Cannot wait for him to catch Covid 2.0, heart disease, or bullet so we can hopefully move on from the dumbass whims of a spoiled scrubs tantrums and hatred. Literally the worst fucking thing to happen to this country at this point.... more tragic than 9/11, more dangerous than covid and just soooo many more unpleasant things we all already know the list of.
Seriously.... I grew up in NY. This asshat was a known con artist, shitty human, and punchline to everyone. Than he portrayed a "successful" businessman on TV for a little bit, got a mcDonalds ad, and everyone forgets what a fizzle everythings he's touched turned into? He's like King Midas, but he turns everything he touches into turds, and he thinks if he yells loud enough these turds will magically turn into gold bricks for him. Everyday I wonder, "How in the fuck did we get here again?"
