On a different (slightly similar) note, an old comedian I used to love when I was younger, Christopher Titus, popped up in conversation. Idk why, but I felt like the dude would have went on the deep end given the shit he would talk about in his comedy specials...

...Only to find out the dude's actually got his head on straight it seems. So yeah, props to Titus.

video games aren't that important to me, but the switch 2 pre orders are being delayed/pulled due to tariffs according to headlines:lol: Americans were already upset about the pricing, now it's probably going to be even worse lol

Huge Nintendo fan and hyped for the system, but I'll accept a Switch 2 price hike if that's what gets people to get out of the house and do something about all this. Something's gotta wake them up.

I love Titus. Been following him since 5th Annual End of the World Tour and been listening to his podcast for years. It's surprising how level headed he can be, given everything he talks about in his stand ups. He's definitely my favorite comedian that's still alive.
And yes, his political commentary I usually spot on. Well, the Sarah Palin thing was a bit much, but besides that...

I have a vanilla PS5, a bunch of games, plus all my Switch 1 stuff, all that were set aside for a trade in for the Switch 2. And now I'm still hesitant even if all of that covered the pre-order cost.

you can tank my 401k, you can destroy the USA's alliances, you can leave Ukraine and Palestine to die, you can take my DEI, but gosh darnit, taking my donkey kong is where I draw the line!

I'll admit that new Donkey Kong game does look solid, and I'm not much of a platformer guy. At 23 years old, I've already resigned myself to never retiring at the rate things are going, so they might as well leave me with fucking Donkey Kong.

I looked up the joke and uh
...I guess I'm fucked because I laughed lmao
I guess I have no sympathy for her because she was a precursor to Trumpism and the ilk that is MTG and Lauren Boebert.

One of my favorite comedians back in the day, I'm not joking. I had Norman Rockwell is Bleeding on our old DVR and I'd watch it almost weekly lol. I fell off when he did Love is Evol so yeah it's very liberating to see he's not a pos.

Canary in the coal mine moment happening right now in this NC judge's election for having free and fair elections.

And appeals court just sided with the republican nominee to try and question 65,000 votes. Most votes in question were obviously in blue districts.

If they do toss votes, then that's it. That's what will go down in mid terms. No more free and fair elections.
