not really into the new single, but I'm intrigued to see what else they do with the space theme. The last 2 albums were fuckin bangers, especially 1.618 off Elements of the Infinite.

Goofy geek with the short scale micro guitar - priceless! He ripped some serious lead though.

The vocalist was showing more promise on the previous album, not feeling it on this one. Bassist has it stepped up.

Every album with these guys their drums sound so well mixed! I like the new single, lots of cool riffage. I appreciate how the song takes its time throughout the 6 mins, it's a welcome departure from the usual 3-3:30 get in and get out approach in modern metal.

Also, Greg doesn't play Jacksons anymore? Had to Google it, i think this is the first I've heard of Carillion guitars. Looks good, dunno if it's the camera angle but those frets look huge... must be at least 28" scale?

Bumping this to say I'm late to the party but I've been spending the last couple hours at work listening to their back catalog and damn is this good. Gonna keep an eye out for the new one.

Lucky that I'm from Colorado and have met Greg a couple of times - dated a girl who was good friends with his wife at the time. Headed to an Apoptosis listening party tonight, actually - I'll hit up the thread with a full review tomorrow!

Having now listened to Apoptosis in a loud bar, I can say only that it is brutal. I'll have to give it a more careful, isolated listen another time.

This popped up in my Youtube feed today. In the comments section, " 26.5" on this one. I'd normally do them a touch longer for an 8 but Greg was very specific on it being perfect for his needs!"

Ah yes, my favourite place to bring a folding chair and play some classical guitar whilst wearing wedding clothes.

    Shitposts aside, the song rips.
