Past few years have had some really nice guitars coming out and I've started to feel like if you think you want something, ask for a discount and get on with it asap; you'll make your discounted price back on the used market if you don't like it since nobody can get stock. Else be stuck waiting, because every 'in production' guitar I've ordered has been delayed... multiple times.

SammyDuet-2 here has quickly become one of my favourite guitars. Something about stars with reverse headstocks fits the look. Stars in general are slowly becoming my favourite shape. Appointed with features I didn't know it had until I owned it like: SS frets. Chrome bolts look good too! I been eyeing that Jackson SL7 with reverse headstock and full chrome hardware and I gotta say, the bolts only looks way cooler.
I love LP scale guitars. Makes learning material very easy and I just stretch it out to longer scales and thicker strings once I'm familiar with the material. The cutout is full shred. If I had the original version without the cutout I'd be mad... Lots of space to shred too, dunno what the pickup is but I had to back it so far down that that, and no neck pickup is like a picking dream. As someone who likes to use their volumes and switch, this might just stay shred practice. Will the next SD model have the slanted neck single? Please!
Here in C# with 12s for BTBAM non molesty stuff.

You ever have a really cool custom shop idea but DON'T want to pay for it? Yea this is as close as I'm getting. Love the finish and the veneer. Something about the cherry stain on the back and neck is just straight classy too. Have this one in a really slack Drop C for that grimey early 2000s sound.

For how great the finish looks it's impossible to get good pictures of it. Off the bucket list so I can get my Necrophagist on. Now to find the XH...

Remember when people were selling actual mirror top Jacksons for the price of this import guitar new? Pepridge Farm remembers. The shatter effect is cnc routed. The top leaves much to be desired upon Puma-tier inspection but playing you don't notice and it looks great with all the flashy reflections all over the place. FINGERPRINT MAGNET. Not any heavier than any of my other Kellys feels like. We were in Eb covering a lot of Protest even with the mushy pickups but this one doesn't get played much anymore. The 16" end of the compound radius without a cutout starting to feel really tight after religiously daily-ing my SD-2.

I have an XPT700 in the same RCM finish and know exactly what you mean about getting a good photo of it.

That SD-2 is on my short list of what to buy next. Currently saving for a wedding and then after that it's game on 😂 refurbishing a 2007 JH-200 in the meantime though to scratch that itch

I have cash in my account reserved for something with BC Rich written on the headstock. While I see some very nice instagram pictures, until things are actually in stock and can ship, my cash is fine where it is.

That Sammy Duet guitar has occasionally kept me up at night, though!

While I'd do questionable things to get a Erik Rutan model, for me personally the SD-2 is close enough

Dammit, seeing Goatwhore this weekend and will need to resist the siren call of the SD-2. Something about a stripped down guitar made for playing just one genre. The lower horn scoop is 🤌.

I read that people are now getting their Rutans. I'm still on the fence about his import sixer... Really want a 7 but might have to settle for the 6 if I ever even get the chance. But god damn does the mk2 look good in Rutan Red.

My Sammy Duet is supposed to be delivered today, I’ll make a new thread once it comes.
