    Neither Sustaniac or Fernandes has come out with an 8-string driver/pickup yet.

    You could probably use a 7-string driver, it should be wide enough to cover everything.

    Maybe look at a feedback/sustain pedal like the Digitech Freq-out?

    Yeah its cool, id probably just get that but i dont want to add any more pedals to my board,

    I've had the digitech unit for about 2 years now, and the one advantage that it has over the Sustainer & Sustainiac is the ability to use the neck pickup voicing, as well as using the pedal in momentary mode.
