well there are definitely WRONG answers, that is, physically impossible ones, or ones that place the claw at very extreme positions, so I'd like to avoid those. also I should mention im limited to 3 straight springs, since this will be a sureclaw.

They have not. Also, they are not moving to the “new generation” saddle, they are just changing the tuning knob to accommodate string through.
