the problem probably lies in the crowns on your frets. If they aren't well crowned and flat your guitar will never properly intonate.
All i know is that i want one.
ESP did a 27" eclipse 7 for a while
they are on par in every way, just voiced to be less specific and with out all the crazy options
i have the set in a basswood rg project guitar and they work very well. the HD bridge is a little tighter than an SD custom with a similar voicing
