No idea, but they just sound wrong to me, all the time. It's not like I'm the "there's only Gibson and Fender" guy, I've played plenty of set neck...
I love how MM guitars play, but I hate the way most of them look. On the other hand, I love the way PRS look, but I dont care for their sound.

Consider the Suhr Mateus Asato goes for just as much in the USA, and it's not as unique and peculiar.
I remember them being completely different from your standard Fender singles or SSL/APS Duncans. nice for certain things, not my faves for more...
I can stand the 24 frets, but the cutaway on the right side kills the whole thing in my book. Too bad cause the 2point tremolo was totally my liking.
