Dave set my Thorn up already so she's ready to rock and toneful as ever! I think you're REALLY going to like this if you can get down with vintage goodness! I fear that you might not love your Les Paul as much afterwards though... this thing has balls. HUGE BALLS! :D I get the feeling like I should have made a Stitch joke of some sort there but I just can't bring myself to do it...

peep my custom 7 thread, yo!
    4. budda
as far as the LP's go, apparently so!

yeah, looks like i'll be saving up for a DC727 then. living off soup, KD and sandwhiches for the first semester w000! haha

i think the custom might have the same neck? too lazy to go on the LP site and check haha.

between my JSX, TSovChaos, and my LP (volume knobs ftw) i can get every single tone i want from it.

really hoping that a Carvin DC727 would provide similar satisfaction. how would you compare your DC's neck to your custom?

EDIT: so i went on the gibson site, both the LP Studio and LP custom have the 50's neck carve. and the same pickups. hm, imagine that

that's the bridge, right? let me know what Tim has to say, as i was thinking the same thing .

I am wondering who would be able to make a neck profile similar to my studio, im hoping that a 7-string version would be just as comfortable. not sure. any suggestions?
    7. budda
hey Ed, you and i are fans of the 498R/490T setup in our LP's.

do you know of any 7 string pickups that get close to that kind of tone? the blaze isnt in the C7 yet, but im thinking ahead for if/when i get a DC727 hehe
    8. Ryan
I've been jamming a PODxt for so long before my ENGL that I can virtual hear all the tones from the models you described
    9. Ryan
 Yah mixing's the bitch too. What'd you guys use to record gearwise?
    10. Ryan
