Nope, they play 6-strings in B-standard.
Allegaeon 7 string stuff
Decapitated’s blood mantra
Pre-obsolete fear factory (although that may have been a six string)
Some unearth stuff
Bands that have used B standard on a 7
Mors Principium Est
Bands that have used B standard on a 6
At the Gates
There are loads more I can't think of off the top of my head. Let me know what band you're interested in and I'll recommend some songs since some of these bands changed tuning.
There aren't a lot of bands who play B standard on their 7s, most guys tend to tune half a step down or drop A/A#. It's rare enough for bands to tune to A standard but a lot in drop G. If you want to to stay in standard then there are lots of songs by the bands in B standard on 6s list you can learn. Not many require the F# open second string.
DragonForce have a few songs that are in 7-string standard. They're more common in the later (Marc) stuff due to the heavier influences they added to their sound.
Estradasphere plays or played sevens in B Standard, but they sometimes have extreme vocals, although usually not.
+1 for Dream Theater. John Pettrucci was one of the first to really embrace the seven string guitar in a non-nümetal band.
I believe earlier Fear Factory (maybe pre-1999 or so) was standard, but they started progressively tuning lower and lower more recently. Pretty gritty vocals, though.
Limp Bizkit doesn't/didn't use standard seven string tuning, but tuned instead to something like B standard plus an extra high string. Pretty easily adapted to standard, though - not sure why Wes Borland used such a weird tuning.
Didn't Lacuna Coil use B standard? I only ever learned a couple of their songs and I swear it was in B.
Scar Symmetry are mostly in B IIRC. Sometimes drop A as well I think.
They don't play in standard tuning
Redemptions 7 string songs are all B standard outside of one track that's Drop A (which I believe is "Fistful of Sand")
