Are you sure that the color is green? That looks like a RB (royal blue) in some very yellow light...

I have never seen, or heard of a green 7620. The one pictured must be custom painted. If I remember correctly..there was a run of green 7420's made for Guitar Center?

    EDIT - I stand corrected: http://www.sevenstring.org/threads/ibanez-rg7620-1998.227199/

EDIT EDIT - Just searched the forums, a few long-time members here have or had those at some point. The color is "Cayman Green" and it is the rarest factory colour of the RG7620. It seems only a handful of these are out in the wild, so expect to pay $$$

Good find, bostjan. I stand corrected also.. That ad says it was a Sam Ash run...wonder how many of those were made?

Me too. I know it's more than three and much less than the Dark Adriatic Blue or Grey Nickel. If I had to guess, I'd go with a few dozen, probably. I've never seen one, and I'm a huge fan of the RG7620 - and green is my favourite colour.

I found this bit of info from the Jemsite to add:

"Specialty colors were available only from certain large guitar chains such as Sam Ash and Guitar Center. They ordered a large quantity of a non-catalog color and offered them for sale to the public. Cayman Green (CG; specialty color), Grey Pewter (GP; specialty color), Iron Pewter (IP; specialty color), Red Wine (RW; specialty color)"

I've handled the GP or IP (can't remember) and RW before. I think they are all rare-ish, but the CG is the only one that doesn't look a lot like one of the normal colours, IMO (and also from what I read online, since I'm blue-yellow colourblind anyway).
