What makes a guitar good?

    really nice and romantic.... but get a 50 bucks guitar and will see what connection will happen with that crap

    The thing is that good or bad isn't an absolute value... but yeah, this goes more into the higher end guitars versus super hyper mega top end guitars, I mean what is the REAL difference between a 3k guitar and a 10k or more guitar?. My top guitars are 1.5k and I absolutely love them as they are now. Will I love as much a 3k guitar? I don't even care, but is the price value important? No, I've gotten really cool tones and play out of a 150$ Squire and a 10W solid state amp...

    Some of my biggest “blown away” moments were with someone on a $50 guitar...I hear your point but the two aren’t mutually exclusive

    It's easy to forget that guitars are just a tool. A great mechanic can fix nearly everything with a small box of old tools, and a novice can have all the fancy new tools in the world and still not be able to do anything of value.
