Everytime I've tried to contact the Jackson CS I've been auto-replied to speak to a dealer.
Man I asked two dealers last week about placing an order and... crickets. I guess I could start pestering them about it, but I’m not sure it’s a great idea to beg a company to build me a guitar. I assume Charvel/Jackson wont stiff me, but it’s often a bad idea to pay someone thousands of dollars for something they don’t really want to be doing...
Apparently my dealer pressured them into doing it due to their size and how many custom shop fenders they order. Dealer was told no initially but tried again and somehow managed to pull it off.
I think it helped that my specs for the guitar are so basic tbh
Gotcha and understand if you don't want to share the dealer's name.
I was just told no for a Charvel.
Nobody over there likes me

That sucks man. I'm honestly amazed that I was able to get a order in and to be told it will be done in less than a year.
I think it's due to how simple my build is tbh
Cool thanks! Wondering if I should give it a try with a simple build too.
Which dealers did you try? I ordered through Capitol Guitars and they got me a Masterbuilt slot in December.
Apparently the wrong ones! You’re build will be done on December? That’s great!
Hoping it only takes a year to build but you never know with Jackson. Out of my two masterbuilts one took 7-8 months and the baritone took about 10-11 months. Now they were pretty simple as masterbuilts go and the only thing special about them was the Schaller Hannes bridge.
