Blokes??? Kangaroos?? Who talks like this? No one that I've ever heard that wasn't from one of those millennial movies. Look I'm from texas and it's pretty big, if anyone was actually from australia I think statistically I'd have run into someone like that by now.

My college roommate was a flat-earther. He was also weird as hell in a very general sense. Shocking, I know.

For a while I believed Young Earth Creationists were the most painfully ignorant among us, then I had a conversation with a flat earther and realized I was mistaken.

Flat earthers are meant to discredit people who don't think we went to the moon. Flat earthers believe "space is fake" and we live under a dome. That earth is more like a "petri dish." The only thing that's like a petri dish is what swims around in the bedpan they call a skull, because their brain certainly isn't taking residence there.

It's kind of like how science fiction can be a good or bad influence. There will be those who read Jules Verne and are like, "Hmmm... travel through space- I wonder if we can actually do that!" and go on to work at NASA, accomplishing things only our ancestors could only dream of.

Then there are those who see The Matrix while baked once and are like, "None of this is real and nothing matters- I'm not getting a job, dad!"
