Unearthly Trance & Cathedral! Cathedral just for forest of equilibrium and in memorium alone. I miss Unearthly because they had this chameleon quality; all their albums are different and good. Like Motorhead and Venom had a baby and it smoked opium while cranking Neurosis in his highschool years. I wanna start a doom band now!

Caronte is a brilliant band. Its similar to electric wizard but if Danzig was on vocals, but its even better than such a simple description could delineate. Probably may favorite stoner doom with EW Ancestors and conan

My stoner doom kick has never really ended, 6 years running

Does anyone think its interesting how much this scene has blown up since 2010? Soooooo much amazing music, if that's what you're into.

I started listening to Bloodhorse when their first (and apparently only) album came out. I guess the guy joined All Pigs Must Die and then let Bloodhorse fade away. I never knew this. I kinda forgot about the band, and I almost had to start a thread to ask What band had this album cover where I was going to start describing the album art as orange sorta abstract/deco style with a sun coming over the "horizon" and then as I typed it it all clicked and I remembered

Their only album, Horizoner, is really cool! Simple. Straightforward. Always really dug The Old Man

This one isn't exactly "doom" in the traditional sense, but it is slow and imo it is stoner. I've heard Cloakroom referred to before as "stoner emo". I don't really get the emo. What's emo about this? But it's rockin'

Been playing a couple songs off of this album lately... nothing new but really soulful imo.
