Im lightly resting my right arm on the guitar but when i wanna move up to the first strings, it gets stuck that i have to lift my arm or wear a long sleeve shirt. It gets sticky after a while. Im doing something wrong? My arm is not putting allot pressure on the body. Its worst with acoustic guitars.

I dunno why you think you might be doing something "wrong". Some people produce more perspiration than others. I would suggest that you make sure to wash your hands and forearms before playing ( especially the sweatier/ dirtier that you are) and you might even want to use a little baby-powder or talc before a session. Other than that, make sure that you keep your guitars clean ...in order to eliminate any build-up of contaminants, sweat, etc.

Other people say that the forearm doesnt need to touch the guitar. I think the guitar will fall when playing chords.

That is pretty normal if you sweat when playing, like if you are out in the heat or whatever. All you can really do is clean it regularly. Use one of those guitar polish cloths to wipe it down regularly.

This is one reason why I prefer satin finishes, or thin natural wood finishes. They don't look as pretty, but I love the smoother feel.

My sweating is not normal. After 10 minutes of playing in a cool place, i cant Freely move, it gets stuck. I think i have hyperhidrosis.

Pretty common, just wear a sweatband on the part of the arm that touches the guitar.
I can't even play live without one since my forearm skin gets bruises due to friction.

Do you wax your guitar when you clean it? The Dunlop System 65 wax does a good job of keeping my finish from sticking to my skin.

    You need this:

It's called the Oasis Guitar Sleeve but you may be able to find other types/brands by just searching for "guitar sleeve."

Back when I was in college, some of the Classical cats used to wear them, except they opted for the padded (more expensive) version, because they practiced 50,000 hours a day.

Thanks im going to order one of those.

It is what it is, some people are different than others. What you guys think about satin finish guitars? Will that help?

Satin finishes will definitely not help, if you sweat you sweat.
Not to mention how satin finishes tend to wear off that top layer of finish and to appear shiny on spots that you have contact with them. More common on bass guitars because not all guitar players tend to rest their wrists/forearms, but it will definitely happen. That can't be avoided and a lot of people buy a satin/natural finish instrument without knowing that.
