Got an Orange OR15 recently and I'm really loving that amp.
It sounds a lot meaner and bigger than I was expecting so I'm pleasantly surprised!
    It also looks really cool.

Made a video demo for this amp, full band demo, also including Steven Slate Drums 5.

What's not to love about this amp?

Well, I was looking at a Dark Terror, but this is swaying me towards the OR15 for sure.

I love Orange's look but could never fully bond with the tone. I tried DT, TV50, TV200 and OR15. TV200 was the most suitable one for me but I have no use for a 200 watts tube amp.

Both are great to be honest.
The Dark Terror just has a huge and kinda filthy sound to it while the OR15 is a little tighter and refined.

It's not for everyone I guess, they have a unique character to them but it sounds so good haha...
I truly got bitten by the Orange bug not too long ago and this is the result:

    Absolutely.

I owned an OR15 for years used it for metal pretty much exclusively. If you can deal with a single channel it's an awesome amp. It's marketed as a throwback to the old Orange sound but it has loads of gain on tap (4 stages). Couple it with a boost and you have more than you need. EQ is really nice, I usually pushed the mids and treble and cut the bass.

I wish I still had it, but I still have the Kemper profile of it.

Sounds great, nice midrange the way you have it mixed/dialed in.

I owned the Dark Terror and my favorite thing about it were the cleans (some of my all time fav, through my Legend V12's cab) and lead tones. Lead tones on it had a saturated greasiness that made it seem easier to noodle around with. Gain was fun, a bit hairy for me.

Owned the Dual Terror as well and also TH30. All great amps. The Dual could produce a gnarley coarse-grain crunch that I liked but overall wasnt for me.

OR15s are awesome, dude from Monolord uses one and they're like a black hole come to life. Just absolutely crushing.

Orange is in the same vein as Marshall in my opinion, they don't totally overlap but they do cover some of the same territory.

How does the Kemper profile compare?

The Brent Hinds Orange has a very Marshally sound to my ears, just a bit of a fatter low end.

    Yep, that's Bill.

I loved my OR15, made the mistake of trading it for a Stiletto. I made up for it by picking up a Rockerverb. I have always been a bit of an Orange fanboy, I just love that mid range tone they have, it is very unique.

    Thanks!
For the rhythms just 2 hard panned.
All the lead guitars and additional parts are just one, mostly in the middle.

    Great question!
I haven't played them all a lot yet.
I did track that whole song with the OR15 and I really was enjoying that.
Then came the Dual Terror and I'm super amazed by how big and nasty it sounds.
Haven't played the others as much but when I did I really enjoyed how different they all are so I'm looking forward to exploring them all.
I feel like making a song with each one and then find out which amps works best for certain genres or guitars even.
The Dark terror also really surprised me when I plugged it in... just 'cause I like big, thick and heavy tones.

Oh so you came up one this collection rather quick then. Tons to explore! Would love to hear your thoughts once you’ve gotten to know them all well. The DT is still my favorite orange I’ve tried
