Ahoy hoy. I took ownership of two Kiesel Vader 6 guitars which I love and wanted to share some pics.

    Maple Neck/Alder Body
    Plain maple top
Satin Matte Finish in Seafoam Green
5 piece maple neck w/ purple heart stripes
    Zebrawood fretboard
Kiesel K12B and N Passive Pickups

The 7 string is 27" scale. The 6 string is standard.

There were two things I wanted to achieve with these builds.

Firstly, This has been my first foray into headless guitars or anything outside of a 'standard' look. I've never gone for exotic wood, multi scales etc so I wanted to combine the cool 'modern' look of a Vader with a timeless, classic finish. I like the juxtaposition of seafoam green with the Vader design.

The only deviation from that 'classic' look for me was the Zebrawood fretboard, simply because I was genuinely curious as to how it feels. My initial assumptions I think are right; it's very much an ideal middle ground between maple and rosewood. Plus the wood grain just looks really nice!

Secondly, I've ALWAYS wanted a matching 6 and 7 string guitar. I've always had one of each at some point of my career and always felt a bit frustrated at dealing with wildly different designs, wood type, pickups etc.

I love the fact that these both feel, play and sound VERY similar. I can just pick up and switch guitars when I want, without too much fuss or bother with tone.

Anywho, full disclaimer, I am a Kiesel Artist and simply wanted to share my new babies and why I chose the specs I have. Thanks for reading!

Wait what the hell? I can see the pics fine but imgur has been blocking embedding on here... that is really odd. Guess you updated them?

Cheers guys! Biggest thing for me to was to nail a timeless and classic look on a modern build.

Yup 8 would be dope. I kind of want to spec this exact look but on a 5 string bass as well, for recording etc. A whole family of seafoam green vaders would be pretty sick haha.

I probably wouldn't do twins like that, since I'd feel like it didn't count as two instruments. But that is a cool look. Not over the top, but also not boring. The best decision you made is the pickup color. Black would have killed the look.

"No, honey. Even though you said I could buy two guitars, I only bought one guitar. See? Seafoam green, and Zebrawood. Just like the one I was playing this morning. So now I'm going to pick out that 2nd guitar" *goes back and orders a matching 8-string guitar and a 5-string bass*

Oh sweet! Congrats! I would only get two matching guitars if I had a different 3rd on the way. Still, that is a beautiful pair. I love the black knobs/cream switch tip combo.
Could we maybe see the maple/purpleheart neck please? :)
