Just had time at lunch to go grab my new guitar at the post office...

I currently have a Neptune 7 on order but saw this baby was for sale on the Padalka website. Couldn't resist.

    a Padalka Saturn Headless 8!!

Here are the specs of the beast:

    Basswood body, zebrawood top
Wenge maple neck, macassar ebony fret board, SS frets
    26.5-28" scale
ARB Puncher pickup set, 5 way switch

The wood work is simply amazing. Détails are superb, the work is absolutely flawless!

Still have to experiement (could plug and play it 10 minutes in total). But seems like the ARB pickups come directly from hell!! super extra high output, bright and clear. Fat & Tight!

Here are a few pics and stay tuned for more feedback after the week end!!!

All of Padalka guitars are beautiful but, god this is one of my favorites.

That’s an artist for sure. Congrats on the new guitar!

It’s really only recently that he’s had a small stock of guitars to sell. It looks like he’s doing them more often now, which is awesome because he thinks of some epic design concepts.

Yeah, I picked up a Saturn 7 from in-stock a year ago, and I have the 4 string Ennea from 6 months ago. He has in-stocks periodically. And, though they’re relatively pricey, they’re WAY nicer than a lot of these other $3000 and $4000 instruments you see around. I’d take a Padalka over a Mayones any day of the week. His sense of proportions and attention to detail are just amazing.

wow, i'm in love with this thing! and it sounds just great!

For all of you who are looking for new alternative fof 8 string pickups, I would HIGHLY recommend those ARB Puncher!
They are devastating! Super tight, balanced, with a nice upper mid focus, bright and clear without being harsh.

I must say that the Fluence Modern I have in my Boden 8 don't even sound close. Much less dynamic, and the split tones are not comparable.

Looks great. I looked at the Saturn he had in stock and if I round it down to the closest $1000 and convert the amount through 10 different currencies using 4 different websites with exchange rates from the 90s I'm pretty sure I can afford about half of it.

Not mocking his prices, just my current finances. HNGD!
