    Hi guys,
it's time to my first NGD.
I just want to share with you the great experience that i'm having with my first hand-made custom guitar.
It's a Markline, n° 28 (made by the nice liutist Marco Di Profio, from Italy).

    Here's a video:

24 Ebony fretboard with maple binding
    Fanned frets
    25.5 to 27 scale
    Wenge-maple neck
    Honduras mahogany body
    Quilted maple top
    Neckhtrhu construction
    Seymour Duncan Blackout AHB1 PickUps
    Gotoh tuners
    Novax bridge

It's a beast. Sounds huge, a bit dark but fully understandable and extremly tight.
The neck it's not thin like Ibanez, but it's quite comfortable and fast.
It's perfectly balanced and not so heavy.
The fanned fretboard it's also great, I got used to it in a couple of days!

I just going to re-paint it becasue i don't really like that kind of red..So Marco is going to work again on it! But ehi, he did an outstanding job!:hbang::cool:

Congrats! Looks very good! I personally would have gone reverse headstock.

See I love that color! I think it should stay how it is! But if you don't like it, your choice! HNGD, looks stunning

That thing looks awesome! Looks like an RGish body with the ESP point headstock. I like it a lot :)

Guitar looks amazing dude. How do you like the fanned frets.? Always been curious on the feel of that, just never had an opportunity to pick something up with it.

At the beginning it feels a little wired, especially when you switch fast from first frets to the high ones. Or when you play wide chord, you have to stretch a little bit more the fingers at first frets..
But once you get used to it, it's really like playing a regular one.
And if you look at the fretboard from the side of the neck, like when you playing standing on your feet, you can't say it's fanned, they seem straight.

Marco did again a great job :D
He also made the neck a little more thin, as I asked.
Now my Markline is one step close to perfection :D

Marco is located in Latina (close to Rome).
The price of repainting + other requests was very very low :D
But also the price of the guitar itself was ridicolous cheap (you wouldn't believe it..).
More or less you can buy 3 Markline for a Misha Laguna Burst HT7 price:bowdown:

That's why I'm pretty sure I will reach him again soon for another beast :D

So, as far as I can tell, Markline Guitars is out of business?

Has no presence on the web?

I can find no website to visit to find out about having one of these badboys made?!

Unfortunately not yet, but you can find Marco on Facebook. His profile is under his name : Di Profio Marco.
I contacted him there. And there you can find pictures of all his works (included mine). Ask him whatever you want, he is a nice guy, very very kind. :wavey:

I'm glad you decided to go in the opposite direction of the red because the dark finished turned out fantastic with that top. Congratulations.
