    Hey guys,
I really have to hand it to Jackson for their amazing work on this. I have been on a bit of a total Strat kick as of late and wanted to see if I could get a Strat that combined the things I love about Strats with the things I generally tend to go for, and this ended up being a resounding success!

    Anyways here are pics:

I was going to make a "no Ragnarok in the bridge" joke but then I read the description. In total it looks super nice, especially the roasted maple neck and fretboard! I even find the relic job quite tasty and I don't really like most new old reliced guitars.

I see the Okoume body being used from some manufacturers lately, what known wood species is it close too?

Seeing the guitar and reading the pickup, string gauge and tuning it seems like it would be fun if people who don't know what type of music you play will expect when you pull this out of its case. They'll be like "oh let's hear some tasty blues licks/classic rock stuff" and then total annihilation from a Drop C guitar with a thick saturated sound will plow through their chests!

okoume is basically a cheaper lighter weight african wood, supposedly has tonal qualities of maple (at least when used in acoustics) and has a similar grain to mahogany.

In electric guitars Okoume is basically like lightweight Mahogany.

So the tonal benefits of mahogany without the weight.

Basically, but because it's lighter it tends to be a bit more spanky, a full on Mahogany strat would be a bit too dark for my taste. I think the Okoume and perhaps the Ragnarok set are what keep the highs from getting too typically stratty which would be a bit harsh and thin with the higher gain stuff, and I still have a very full sounding guitar!

Man, Daphne Blue this is my favorite Fender blue - mostly because of Prince's Super Bowl guitar. Only thing that would have made this better for me would be a top-mounted Floyd. So many cool features, like that jack mount, over a traditional Strat.

What are the two little dots on the face of the headstock? Just part of the relicing like a string retainer had been there?

That strat head is necessary for a strat body. Please allow us to take advantage of your situation by giving us more offers with it.
But seriously, that's hot as shit. Between this and Josh Smith's San Dimas, I hope Jackson is taking note for 2018.
