I've had this build *almost* finished for a while now, but hadn't gotten around to sourcing some pickups. This is build #2 for me, I've also build a twin but it's still waiting on pickups.

    Specs:
    Roasted flame maple top
    Chambered Sapele body
    Roasted flame maple 5pc neck
Ebony fingerboard, maple purfling, ebony binding
    Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi set
    Schaller Hannes bridge
    Hipshot open gear tuners
    Stainless steel frets

Alright now for the completely honest, non-biased review:

I am the best builder in the world and you will soon find my guitars for sale in the $9000usd range.

Okay so maybe a slight exaggeration there, but I am fairly happy with how this guitar came out. The finish work on the body is far from perfect and there's a bunch a small errors that I made throughout. I might have missed the initial hype train surrounding Blackmachine *and Blackmachine copies*, but its a style I really like and proved to be a good platform to try out some building techniques such as binding, top joining, chambering, headstock overlays, multi-piece necks, and scarf joints. The Tosin pickup set is fantastic, even if it was a huge pain to fit all that wiring in such a small cavity. Overall the guitar plays and sound great, and I can't wait to see if I can step up the quality on future builds.

I'll go over a few little build details here.

Chambering completed, read to be filled with unicorn farts and children's dreams.

    Top after joining.

    Neck ready for glue up.

Neck blank before being cleaned up

Scarf joint cut, this step was scary as F*** it really felt like hacking sideways through a nicely figured neckblank might just ruin everything.

    Truss rod channel

    Fretboard purfling and binding

Headstock overlay and rough cut shape

Stainless steel T-nuts under the fretboard. Even though they add a little extra work and planning these are definitely going on every build from now on.

Fretboard glued on and neck profile shaped

Grinding and installing frets, this took forever but was totally worth it.

Most of the body shaping finished.

    Neck shaping.

Quick little mockup before finish sanding.

First coat of oil really shows off the figuring in the neck

Good work and looks better made than a lot of BM style builds I've seen.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!

I'm not sure what it is about BM clones and having horrible quality.

I've had a few people ask me that, honestly with the quality of my builds right now I wouldn't be happy selling them to someone. Although I have thought about letting something go for the cost of materials just to fund the next build, but right now that'd have to be a local thing so someone could see, hear, and feel exactly what they're getting.

    Dude that looks absolutely killer.
Nice job on the headstock- it's amazing how many people miss that little 'lip' on the bass side.

The Hannes install was actually super easy. Schaller send a small transparent schematic with the bridge so you really just need to line that up with the mensur and centre lines then drill away.
