So after the debacle that was the KM-6 I bought The ESP LTD EC Black Metal. Great simple riff machine. I’ve spent about 7 hours playing it and looking it over. Frets are nice and rounded off good. No sharp frets or any flaws that can see. Locking tuners are just fine and hold tune great, same goes for the bridge. Neck is super comfortable!!! Fast and smooth. Feels better then my EC1000 Stealth neck and I love that thing! The Seymour Duncan Black Winter is my favorite pickup so yea it sounds killer in this guitar. Super aggressive and cuts like a saw. Most importantly no fret buzz at all!! I’ve even changed strings and tuned it down and still no buzz. No adjustments needed at all. I’m happy that after the KM-6 disaster that this guitar exceeded my expectations.

I bought the M-Black Metal one some time ago and really like it. And I fully understand the Black Winter hype now... Really f* great sounding pickup! And unbelievable versatile too.

I was really interested in this one when it was announced. The specs look great for the price point. I'm hoping to hear more about the consistency across these ltds.

If I really want one I would get the stratocaster kind of shape. It has the floyd rose, reverse headstock, no inlays, black. What is there not to love?

I heard they are fairly well. My only problem is getting one that has an ebony board with a brown streak, but then again I am just picky

My experience with way over hyped Indo Ibanez guitars (premium/iron label). Guitars that cost $1kUSD hard currency or more and have the exact same feel and craftsmanship as the $399USD hard currency Indo Ibanez guitars.

So then it kind of defeats the purpose of paying that money for the Indo Ibanez? Kind of suprising that the $300 models and the $1k models are the same in terms of feel and craftsmanship quality

Go to a shop and A/B a standard series indo Ibanez and an iron label or premium Ibanez. The only difference is brand name pickups, gotoh tuners, Gibraltar bridge and sometimes an ebony fretboard. The way they're carved, painted and put together feels exactly the same. Rough, unfinished, burrs, tearouts, glue bubbles, gaps in binding and woodwork. Just low end quality in feel and craftsmanship. I bought an RGAIX7FMTGF and it felt like playing an RG7321.
