    Hi All,

I don't play a seven-string, but I just wanted to have some kind
public place to possibly document some issues I'm having with a
    Halo guitar purchase.

Not sure if this is okay to do, but I'm not sure at this point what to do.
I'll try to give some details in another post as things progress.

    Thanks,

    -mp

Halo's have been know for years to be ....ty overall. They might be better in recent years? I don't know. But 5 to 10 years ago, they were known for some ....ty guitars. Not suprized your having issues.

I'm very interested in what you have to say. Considering a Halo purchase myself.

All I've heard about Halo are negative feedbacks.

Crappy finishes, bs excuses for no progress/taking more time, and bad communication.

They held a contest last year or on 2015 and the guy who won a free guitar got it like year and a half later (dunno the exact time but it was loooong overdue). He asked for a burst finish like the ones mayones does and got a very very horrible looking one. On top of that they kept putting excuse after excuse for delaying the shipping/ progress.

    Hi All,

Right now my issues have been delays
(it's been about 10 months since my purchase),
and a lack of responses to messages
(I receive a reply only after a few tries over the course of a few weeks).

I had decided to make the purchase because I had read that Halo
    was trying hard to improve.
Hopefully the guitar will turn out okay.

    Thanks,

    -mp

    Hi mdp

Is it a Custom Shop guitar? I see no reason as to why it should take so long otherwise.

Then I see all the reasons in the world as to why it would take that long.

Custom shop orders generally take at least a year and a half just to complete. Then you have to factor in delivery times. I do believe likewise is the case with ESP.

Just be patient and you will have your guitar.
