Really dig the idea these as simple and high quality guitars but I wish the price was as stripped down as the other features.

    $2700? Why.

No wonder people go the custom route nowadays. I don't hate Ibanez and you certainly can't judge a book by its cover but, that pricing is ridiculous.

No, it isn't. We all just thought Ibanez was cooler than that.

You do realize it won't most likely be $2700, but more in the line of $2000, right? List/MSRP =/= Street/MAP

Lots of Les Paul clones looks like an Eclipse.

That's the best LP shape I've seen since the original, I think. Can't wait to try it tomorrow!

i hope it have narrower neck than his china/korean arz brothers...string spacing on them is huge and totally playing un-friendly

It's the same price range as the other Uppercut models, are people seriously that thick? Ibanez is a business, they're here to make money, if their sole purpose was to fulfill and appease the masses, the RGA121 and the RGT models would still be in circulation.

That's also no the final price, people should know that list price is never what you pay. Looks cool, I'd probably get it if it didn't come with Aftermaths  I actually prefer most of BKP's other offerings over it by a lot.

I keep saying this in every RGA related thread but these guitars just weren't popular enough to remain in production. I understand the recent loud demands in this forum and others here and there, but it's still a small number in the grand scheme of things.

But who knows, companies like Ibanez do listen to customers. It won't be the first time that they gave in to customer demands (hardtail RGs for example).
