Hard to say. Is Thomann shipping to USA at all?

Yes and it's pretty nicely priced too...Something like up to 3 guitars for around 50 bucks.

Thomann ships to USA and no USA dealers as Harley Benton is Thomann's brand so Factory -> Thomann -> you.... that's one of the reasons it's fucking cheap.

Look for these few threads for more info as we have been talking about the old models and these new for a few weeks:

    http://www.sevenstring.org/threads/new-harley-benton-fanfret-8.315950/

    http://www.sevenstring.org/threads/exciting-news-about-a-new-pro-line-for-harley-benton.328506/

It's not like we have been talking about exactly these new guitars but a few of us have the Fanned Fret 6, 7 and 8 string guitars (the super-strat shaped ones, the "olders") and there are some info about the pros and cons of these guitars.

Seems I missed those two threads. Happy to close this one and move contents to one of the mentioned by @Zhysick

Sweet. That tele's perfect spec wise for me. I like the less aggressive fan. Chording for clean stuff would be almost normal.

I personally dig the les paul (I lust love having LP style switch and two volumes) but would prefer the fret angle from that tele.

Not sure if the look of these convinces me 100%. Think I prefer the super strat style multiscale they already have.
But that new Fusion line <3 <3 <3
Now if the stainless steel frets also make it onto the multi scale models :agreed:
Also, a multi scale bass would be soo cool!
The Harley Benton brand has become really interesting recently. Alone the fact that they finally changed that ugly old Harley Benton logo one had to be ashamed of to something actually well designed

Hope that fretwork will be better than the fanfrets I have ;)

Since Thomann has a Plek service, how much would it cost them (time/money) to let that machine check the fretwork before the guitar is sent to the customer?

I just scored a 72€ PRS style harley benton deko this morning. Let's see what kind of crap I get haha. Worst scenario I use it to play luthier.

In case anyone wants to check the deko section, where you may find some models for even 27€(a warlock style yesterday...)

Are these real instruments or just models for decoration purposes?

Depends... some of them are totally unplayable and others just have scratches or the trussrod cover is missing, wrong wiring ... It is 100% hit and miss

Well that's what they charge you when you get you guitar pleked at Thomann, right?
But that includes a coffee, analysis of your playing style, some chatting, probably a good margin and tax, so it's not what it costs them to use their Plek machine.
If they run a whole batch of equal Harley Benton guitars through the Plek machine upon reception I guess it would be a more efficient process and therefore cost them maybe 50€ per guitar which undoubtedly would be worth it in my opinion. Probably even if it made the guitar cost 100€ more.

Real instruments that don't make it through Thomann's own quality control I think. Meaning the majority of them are probably unplayable as they are and the flaw is big enough that it's not worth fixing it for Thomann.

I would really appreciate if they could write one sentence of what's the problem, same with B-stocks. So that I can judge if that's a problem for me or not.
