happy friday fellow shredi knights. what album are you guys most anticipating this year or next? I'm pretty stoked to hear the new stuff from the Entheos camp. It will be the first album written with travis levrier on guitar so it should bring some nice new flavor to an already brutal band.

I've heard rumors that Misery Signals (favorite metal band) is writing new stuff, so if that ever comes out I'll be a happy boy.

No shit? Controller is one of my fav albums, stoked if true. We've had a ton of albums lately, I'm fairly content. but, if I had to pick, I'd say probably the new Haunted album.

dat new veil of maya. i kind of have a feeling that since they put out all the softer songs they'd been saving for clean singing on the last album, this new one will be just fast and heavy. :yum:

edit; not gonna lie, kind of excited for whatever Tyler the Creator is releasing next week

Cloakroom's got a CD coming out these year. I guess Relapse is trying to push it as their album of the year or something. My bff has had it for ages but he wont send it to me because he's a lazy POS. I'm going to buy it anyway but jeez guy why can't you just let me listen. It's friggin crazy that the dude who sat in front of me in Mr. Parker's History class is in the big band on one of my favorite ever record labels. If you haven't heard of Cloakroom they're kinda like True Widow but less depressing sounding

Can't wait to get my hands on the new Dying Fetus album, Wrong One to Fuck With. I'm a huge DF fan. Definitely one of my favorite bands. All the songs I heard so far are killer, classic Dying Fetus. I don't dig them as much as the songs from Descend Into Depravity or Reign Supreme, but still, extremely good. It actually sold out in my town. I have to wait an extra week to get the album since I don't have Itunes.

I'm looking forward to this too, but man, I was disappointed when I read that Jeff Loomis didn't get to write anything on it besides solos. I was looking forward to hearing his riffs with a good vocalist for once.

Decapitated and Morbid Angel. It's a death metal kinda year.... I'm hoping the latter is really slow and really weird....
