    I think the solo in The Outlaw Torn is amazing. I assume some people think it's easy to write something like that.

    Great song. Very Sabbath inspired main riff. And yes for "lazy bluesy shit" era Kirk it's a crazy ass solo. I like it. The screechy part seems like he was trying to capture that accidental magic from the MoP solo.

    You know, i really liked Death magnetic and Hardwired upon first listen but unlike st anger, they're just not records i've put on ever again. i'm not really a fan of load/reload or the black album, although that has some very good songs on it. I think the only metallica record i've listened to fully more is kill 'em all
