Any specs as to the neck shape/size and the vertical nut width?

The KxK profiles are a thin C shape. I'm not sure what the actual thickness is on this design yet. Custom thicknesses are usually available if you know the actual measurements you want. I have no idea what you mean by vertical nut width.

They were available on the 7 Scale run and will be available on the upcoming Sii-7 run as well.

Steve I assume that you've got other KxK 7s with a 12"-20" compound radius FB, so I'm wondering if that has any bearing on the action. i.e. can you get the same action on a compound radius as on a consistent radius? I haven't played an 8" compound before.

I haven't played that specific compound radius before, but I have honestly never played a guitar where the radius gave me any problems at all. I would not anticipate any issues.

Since the nut width is slanted on a fanned fret what does the angle and length equate to in terms of a normal vertical (right angle) nut width that we all know? If we're talking typical 6 string shredder/fender spacing at 1 11/16th's we should be in the 2.25" realm.

Nut perpendicular (not the angle) is 2.139"
String spacing is .260" center string to center string.
    All measurements are approximate.

Damnit. That pic doesn't make this decision any easier.

    Looks awesome.

Hehe add to that that I think these are getting the same horn carve my Sii-8 has, giving them the best upper fret access of any 8 I've ever played :metal:

That HS is actually very proportional looking. I know a lot of times inline and rev HSs with more than 6 tuners look huge (I'm looking at you, Jackson!) but I think that is really nice and fits well.

Is that a one-piece neck and body, or is the neck bolted on? Also why are the bridge and neck pups slanted at different angles?

I'm pretty sure it's not a bolt on. I could be wrong. The reason the pickups are slanted different is so it is equal to each other based on scale length. Also could be wrong haha

Thanks. The 4+4 is also available for people that don't like the inline / reverse inline

It's either a neck through or single piece, not sure which on this particular prototype.

Notice the frets aren't all slanted at the same angle either? The pickups are the same way for the same reason. The coil placements are proportional to the fan.

More or less correct on all counts :yesway:

Oh, I see. So the angle of the bridge pickup is equal to how the frets would be slanted if they extended that far?
