Unfortunately 6-string baritones aren't really great sellers, even if a big-name artists uses them.

I imagine a lot of people bough the LTD Grynch of GL-600FB not because they were baritones, but because they were hardcore Hetfield and Lynch fans.

I imagine if they released this, it would mostly be Metallica fanboys adding another Hetfield guitar to their collection.

Although I'd love one myself. Purple baritone Explorer? :prayer:

This is awesome. That 28" silverburst gibson one. Also awesome. Plus Claudio from Coheed rocked one for a while.

I feel like if I ever got a custom guitar it would be white explorer baritone but with traditional 3 knob layout.

To be pedantic, everything ESP makes is "for sale", you just need to order it.

I've always loved James' guitars. I very rarely see the Load/Re-Load flame ESPs, they must be worth a fortune

I imagine ANY of the pre-Truckster James Hetfield sigs grab a fortune. The MX220, MX250, the JH1, 2, and 3... I think the JH-1 and JH-2 would fetch the biggest fortunes because the MX220s and MX250s could be custom-ordered for awhile, while the JH-1 and JH-2 were flat-out discontinued after only a few years.

Unfortunately it's synonymous with Metallica's worst album (that isn't Lulu).

Also, I'll fight you over that claim

It came out around the St. Anger era (2003) and the only time he would break it out was for playing St. Anger songs.
