Yet more stunning work from the Fayster:metal:
This one was finished a while back but i'm not sure if any pics have been posted here.
Who'd have thunk a JS100 could be made so Fuckin' cool with a bit of work (a LOT of work actually!!!!!!!).
Amazing birdseye fretboard and that inlay goes with the swirl colours nicely too, even if it's not my kinda' thing.
Schaller Floyd dropped in instead of the crappy original one (he had to put the block from the Ibanez one on the Floyd but that's all).
Love the clear-coat over the swirl too.Real SHINY:yesway:
The way that Red stands out against the blacks and greys is amazing!!!!

I really like that finish. Just clearcoat over a swirl or what? When I pick up a Steinberger, that will probably the finish it's getting.

Yes, that's a rather sexy JS. I like the darker less sick looking swirls more.

I want a lollipop now.. pretty schweet. Any idea what it's polished with? Or is the finish just that good?

I dunno man, but that top of the horn looks like blown glass, that's some quality stuff right there.

The clear coat is just wet sanded and buffed out.

That baby sure has had some sanding work done on it.. Gotta respect elbow grease (and power tools). Almost looks as if it was waxed.

I hate the maple fretboard on it though. Maybe it's just because I am used to seeing JS's with rosewood fretboards, I dunno. And the inlay is awful at the 12th. If it just had a plain rosewood board, or ebony board, it would look much better. The swirl I definitely dig though. Very nice colours used. Just a shame about the inlay really.

I'd like to see that swirl on an RG body though.
