damn, wish I still lived in texas, would love to come test out some of those guitars.
Great stuff. Hey, on a related topic... your Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts seem to be defunct (I tried the social media icons on your website). Are you on those platforms? If so, I'd love to connect.
his instagram is @elysian.pickups
Sorry I changed them recently, we'll update them. In the meantime, they're in the first post! Just noticed the Elysian.guitars link is a blank WordPress site, got to get that fixed up.
Wrapped up day two today, had a lot of great conversations, sold some pickups, and had a lot of interest in both Nate and my guitars! Lots of fun, but I'm beat! Ted Nugent walked by our booth, he was in a booth a few down from us... I won't say more about Ted, but that was interesting at least
Tomorrow is the last day, and whatever I have left will be listed here and on Reverb! Stay tuned, and if anyone is interested in a set of pickups now, let me know, we can get it out to you!
I think the highlight of the show so far for me was watching Seymour Duncan himself wind pickups! He's a character, plenty of stories to tell, and very friendly, as is everyone in the Duncan booth.
what kind of 6 string humbuckers do you have available right now?
Do you have a "store" at Reverb?
All of my winds, from vintage to hot modern type winds. Got some in zebra, most in black, and some chrome covered stuff.
Not set up just yet, but will be after the show. I'm link it here.
We're going to list everything on the website, as well as Reverb over the next week. Just decompressing from the show.
The physical copy of my patent arrived this week, here's some pictures:
And here's a PDF copy if anyone wants to see it:
Went ahead and had pictures taken of the two Espada's that are available for sale, should have those by tomorrow. The stuff I saw off the camera looked really awesome, so I'm pretty stoked to get those! We'll also be doing product shots soon for the different pickup models I have. That should be cool.
Alright, got the pictures! These two are available, the black one is $2099 shipped, the brown one is $2499 shipped. Both are 25.5" scale, jumbo nickel frets, Hipshot tuners, Hipshot bridges, mahogany bodies, maple/bubinga 3 piece necks, bone nuts. The brown one has a roasted maple fretboard w/ black binding and my modern wind pickups, featuring Alnico V slugs and ceramic bar magnets underneath. The black one has an ebony fretboard, vintage wind pickups with an Alnico V bar magnet underneath. Both feature CTS pots and Switchcraft jacks.
Congratulations on your patent!
Thanks! I'm hopeful it pays off in the long run, I really believe in it.
Liking the new forum upgrade, love the return of likes!
Finished this set up tonight for bostjan, these are the hot modern wind with ceramic bar magnets and A5 poles on the inside bobbin, hidden under the cover. I'll hand these off to my photographer tomorrow to get proper pictures done, then ship on Friday.
good choice @bostjan
Awesome work, Adam!
My picture guy really killed it on these shots, love his work.
Definitely digging the pickups!
I recorded a couple of little things with the Seymour Duncans that I ripped out the other day, and I'd like to re-record now with the new pickups. I hope to get some clips up soon.
Would it be possible to do birdeye maple pickups to match a fretboard?
