Today marks a tremendous day in history for my small town. The question was this "Are you in favor of the sales of alcohol in Princeton, Kentucky?" It passed 1167 yes votes to 855 no votes. I live in the bible belt, and this shocked the shit out of me as I never thought it would pass.
Also when I went to vote 3 old women commented how much they loved my tattoo (koi fish half sleeve). Made me feel awesome. The meme as my display pic was part of me and a friends internet campaign if your wondering.

Pretty sure they were all hiding whiskey in their hollowed-out bibles anyway.

But seriously, congrats. And as Chickenhawk said--you're damn memes too small

Congrats man! To be honest I was completely unaware there were so many places that still prohibited the sale of alcohol up until a few months ago.

There are still many places in Kentucky alone that prohibit it. Marshall county which is about an our away voted No a few weeks prior to us. Pretty sad if you ask me.

Where I am from, McCreaery, is going to vote the 28th. We need it because we are the only county in Ky without a mayor and the 19th poorest county in the U.S.A., loook it up if you dont believe me.

I only looked in this thread because I thought it was in relation to Ky

I feel like I've enters the 1920s... I didn't know there were counties in the US that still had prohibition in effect.

Dude that blows. Growth must seem unreasonable to the older folks there.
