Ah, it did look amazing pre-lacquer, but in that amazing "never going to turn out this amazing" kind of way. No matter how I spec guitars something always winds up a little off so it's important to just work that into the expectations. My M2M strandberg was *perfect* before oil finish, and a lot less pink afterwards. And this is also stuff I mocked up entirely in photoshop beforehand as a reference. Just the way it goes!

Still looks great though and I'm sure would look even better if through a nice DSLR like Dylan's shots.

for the flat backer neck profile what is it relative to? i currently love the neck on the PRS S2 24. My least favorite neck profile was a slim C like the Aristides 070. i've also got a baseball bat epiphone brent hinds V which is a like DD in a manner of terms.

"Our most popular neck carve is the “flatbacker”, which is a thin profile with rounded shoulders, but we also carve an ultra thin, small-shouldered neck that we call the “Shredator”, as well as classic vintage feeling necks. Daemoness necks also have a reduced “taper” over standard production guitar necks, with less thickening of the neck as you ascend to the higher frets. At the Daemoness workshop we can recreate any neck profile and carve you desire for your custom."

He's also talked about it on Youtube and that might be more detailed and have more comparisons.

Isn't it based off of a Wizard profile?
