I have a question regarding CITIES policy and how to get a certificate.

1.) Has anybody experience with shipping from Europe to the United States?

2.) How do you get a certificate if you just have a guitar without many documents - only a speclist.

My problem is that I have a custom made guitar for sale and I didn't get any certificate with it.

    Woods used:

    - ebony
    - pau ferro
    - pale moon ebony
    - swamp ash

Has anybody shipped guitars with similar or the same woods and did it work?

As far as I know when you ship at least rosewood there is a chance that the guitar can get confiscated at the customs.

It is basically this guitar I am talking about: http://sevenstring.org/conversations/gng-built-blackmachine-7.635012/

as far as I know, these woods are not on the list. If you had rosewood and bubinga for example, that would require the paperwork. Go to the CITES website and check everything twice
